Quite a number of people attending church are simply nominal Christians–by name. They identify with this or that denomination. They identify with Christian as a religion. Christianity is a relationship, a way of life, not a religion. Religions are characterized and controlled by ritual, beliefs and practices. If rituals replace relationship, then we know our acts are merely perfunctory.
Going to church doesn’t mean you are a Christian. True worshipers will go to church but also worship in the Spirit.

After so many years having lost my faith, hating the word religion for it’s murders, hate, and prejudices, I have only realized in the past few months Jesus has nothing to do with humanities religion.
